Small angle neutron scattering combined with selective deuteration enabled the determination of the composition and structure of lipid based nanoparticles before and after binding apolipoprotein E, a key serum protein that determines the uptake to liver cells. This work was done in collaboration between Malmö University and AstraZeneca.
