On 27-28 May 2015 the 19th Annual Meeting of the Swedish Neutron Scattering Society (SNSS-19) was organized at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.This meeting collects the main part of the Swedish neutron community along with several international experts. Representatives from the European Spallation Source (ESS) attended and gave a status update for the source as well as the instrument development. A special focus was on discussions regarding industrial involvement in development as well as utilization of neutron sources with representatives from three of the world’s most recent and powerful spallation sources: SNS at Oak Ridge National Labs. in USA and ISIS in UK.
