In its December 2025 meeting, the SNSS board has finalised a strategy document for neutron science focusing on the develoment of the community in the next 10 years. The strategy emphasizes the importance of develping a community that can grow naturally and sustainably, following the substantial investment made in the last decade. This includes ensuring access to diverse neutron sources and instrumentation, as well as the education of new users through post-graduate studies.
